Soccer News - Thursday 16 Jun 2005

St Joseph’s held a very successful presentation night in The Rugby Club on Friday evening. As in previous years every player received a trophy as recognition of their play through out the year. The success of the club over the past year and the achievements of all the players, their coaches and supporters was acknowledged. Great attention was given to the under 13 team who are the first St Joseph’s squad to win a league title. Each team had two special awards one for the most improved player and also the player of the year. The most prestigious award was the club person of the year and this year it went to David O’Shea for his overall contribution to St Joseph’s and soccer. The managers did ask for more support from parents in the coming year to ensure that we are able to continue to build on the great success of the club to date.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: St Joseph’s will hold their AGM this Wednesday, June 15 (tonight) in Tinryland National School starting at 8:30 pm

Everyone is invited to attend and we would hope that people will be able to participate more in the club in the following years
