Tinryland Junior team capture League Division 4 title
The Tinryland Junior (A) team capped a magnificent league campaign when they won the Carlow Division 4 title against Kildavin-Clonegal at Dr. Cullen Park last Tuesday. Having won 7 of their 8 league games to date the Tinryland lads had to battle hard against a determined Kildavin-Clonegal outfit. Goals from Evan Doyle and David Townsend helped to seal the 2-8 to 2-4 victory for Tinryland who will now hope to do well in the forthcoming championship where they will face Kildavin-Clonegal again in addition to St. Andrews and O’Hanrahans. Well done to the team and the management of Sean Barrett, Alan Doyle and Niall Barrett.
