Tinryland minor footballers take on Eire Og in Co. final on Sunday next.

Tinryland minor footballers have qualified for the Co. minor football final which takes place on Sunday next 13th October in Dr. Cullen park at 2. p.m. The minor final will be the curtain raiser to the Carlow S.F. final between Rathvilly and Old Leighlin.

The Tinryland minors are unbeaten all season but they had to dig deep to overcome Rathvilly in the semi final played in Ballon last week. The opposition on Sunday will be old rivals Eire og who have beaten Tinryland in 5 minor finals since the club reached the 1999 decider. Tinryland also lost to neighbours Palatine in the 2009 decider but hopes are high that the McKelvie cup will at last visit Tinryland on Sunday.

The Tinryland panel is as follows: Ciaran Byrne, Fiach Byrne, Michael Calvey, Luc Corcoran, Kuba Dobosz, John Fleming, Andrew Hanly, Peter Hennessy, Brian Hosey, Mark Lawlor, Marcus Lawler, Niall Lowry, Adam Mullen, Brian Mullen, Adam Murphy, Dermot McGuill, Conor McGrath, Luke Nolan, Owen O’Gorman, Conall O’Se, Conor O’Toole, Barry Power, Ciaran Townsend, Diarmaid Walshe, Shane Webb.
