CLONMORE RAMBLING HOUSE GROUP TO VISIT TINRYLAND GFC: A music night with a difference is planned for Tinryland GFC on Friday, March 31 when the famous Clonmore Rambling House group will perform in aid of the Carlow branch of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Following the huge success of the Tinryland X factor which recently packed the club it is hoped that local music supporters will once again turn out in large numbers for this very worthy cause. Tickets are currently on sale at •5 and refreshments will be served on the night. Further details from Teresa Power or any member of the club.
JUVENILE FOOTBALL TRAINING: The juvenile section of Tinryland GFC has set the following days and times for training: U-16 Thursday 7.30 to 8.30pm. U-14 Monday 6.30 to 7.30pm and Friday 6.00 to 7.00pm. U-12 and U10 Saturday 2.00 to 3.00pm. The above training sessions have already started. Fun training for 6s and 8s will commence on Saturday, March 25 from 5.00 to 6.00 pm.
The committee of Tinryland Juvenile GFC would like to thank all who attended the annual race night on Saturday last. The club would also like to thank the race sponsors, advertisers and all who helped on the night which was a great success and shows the strength of the juvenile club, which it is hoped will continue.
