FIRST TINRYLAND GFC SUPPORTERS CLUB DRAW ON MARCH 4:

The first monthly draw of the newly formed Tinryland GFCsupporters club will take place on Saturday, March 4 in the club at 9 30 pm. There are still a number of tickets available for the draw, which will have a 1st prize of •1000. The draw will be limited to a membership of 200 and tickets are available from supporters club officers David Power, Cormac O’Toole, Mary Doyle or John Scott. All former members and players together with current players, parents and members are invited to participate in the supporters club. Tinryland will play O’Hanrahans and Naomh Eoin in this years Carlow SFC following the draw at last weeks Co. Board meeting. This meeting also sanctioned over 40 transfers with the main beneficiary being the recently reformed Milford club who gained 16 new players for the coming year including former Tinryland players Kevin, Brian and Laurence O’Neill, Thomas Pender and Keith Gaule. Former Tinryland Juvenile G.F.C. player Cian Begley played a key role for Salthill-Knocknacarra in their AIB All Ireland club semi final victory over Kilmacud Crokes on Sunday last.
