SUCCESSFUL VISIT TO TINRYLAND BY LIMERICK G.A.A. CLUB CLAUGHAUN:

Tinryland juvenile G.F.C. repaid some of the hospitality it received at this years All Ireland Feile in Limerick when the club entertained their host club Claughaun over the weekend. The Limerick city club travelled to Tinryland on Saturday afternoon and played a hurling game against Carlow Town H.C. under the new floodlights on Saturday evening. Afterwards at a reception in the clubhouse gifts were exchanged between the two clubs to mark the occasion and the Limerick group were welcomed to Carlow by Tinryland juvenile G.F.C. chairman Michael Murphy and by senior club chairman David Power. The 22 young Limerick players and their mentors stayed overnight in Tinryland G.F.C. members houses and on Sunday.

NOMINATIONS AND MOTIONS FOR TINRYLAND G.F.C. A.G.M. CLOSE ON MONDAY: The A.G.M. of Tinryland G.F.C. will be held on Monday 12th December at 8. 30 p.m. Nominations and motions should be sent to John Scott hon secretary before Monday next, December 5. Tinryland senior footballers lost their final league game of the season against Mount Leinster Rangers in Borris on Saturday and will now face a three-way play off with the same opposition and Leighlinbridge to avoid relegation to the S.F.L. div. 2.

GAA DRAW: There will be a draw for 2 season tickets for all games in Croke Park in 2006. The draw will take place in Tinryland GFC on Friday, November 25th. Tickets available from any committee member or at Deane’s Shop.
