TINRYLAND G.F.C. NEWS: History was made on Monday of last week when Tinryland juvenile G.F.C. fielded two winning U14 teams at different venues. The all conquering U14 (A) team continued their winning ways with a comfortable victory over Muinebheag at McGrath Park. At the same time the U14 (B) team defeated Eire Og at Pairc Ui Bhrian. There are a number of important juvenile games down for decision in the coming week.
On Saturday evening in Borris the U12 team will be away to Mount Leinster Rangers at 6 p.m. On Monday next, May 30 two Tinryland U14 teams will be in action with the division 1 team at home to Fenagh at 7 30 p.m. and the division 2 team away to Grange at the same time. A sponsored cycle in aid of the trip to the All Ireland Feile will take place around the parish on next Sunday afternoon. The annual race night will take place on Friday, June 3.
Coaching sessions for U6 players will now take place on Tuesday evenings between 5 30 p.m. and 6 30 p.m. For further information contact Diarmuid O Se at 087 9111778.
