The AGM of Tinryland Athletic Club will be held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday next, March 25th at 8 pm where a successful year will be reviewed and all plans outlined for the forthcoming year. All members and intending members are invited to attend.
Tinryland Athletes on Top in Local Race
Congratulations are extended to Tinryland athletes Pat Byrne, Tommy Payne, Larry Murphy and Frances Gahan who occupied the first 4 positions respectively in the Enable Ireland 5km Road Race which was held recently in Carlow Hurling Club.
Pat Byrne also had a fine run recently when placing 16th and also 8th in the M2 Category in the All Ireland Masters Cross Country in Dunboyne Co. Meath which attracted a field of over 250 entrants.
Tinryland's Fit Camp
A new 6 week session of our Fit camp will begin on March 19th. We have had a very successful first session over the past 6 weeks and all members have found it both very beneficial and enjoyable.
The Fit Camp is running every Monday and Wednesday night from 7-8pm and Saturday 10am-11am in St Joseph's soccer pitch in Tinryland. The Fit camp is run by certified trainers and is designed to cater for all levels of fitness. THE FIRST NIGHT IS FREE FOR NEWCOMERS, so please feel free to come along and see what we do. Everyone is welcome. Costs depend on how often you attend. Tuesday and Thursday morning sessions will run to suit demand.
