National Title for Mary Ann

Congratulations are extended to Mary Ann O'Sullivan on a fantastic
winning performance in the National Junior Ladies Indoor 1500m in
Nenagh on Sunday. The Tinryland athlete and DCU Scholarship student
was always to the front of affairs in this event and edged out runner
up Chloe Doran of Raheny to win in a fine time of 4 mins 47 seconds
with Niamh Markham of Ennis in 3rd place. Mary Ann, daughter of
Jeremiah and Margaret, Ballinabranna has had an impressive season to
date and recently represented Ireland in the European Junior Ladies
Cross Country Championships in Slovenia.

National Title for Mick

Congratulations are extended to Tinryland AC athlete Mick Kehoe, Ballybar on a fantastic
win in the National Masters V1 Indoor 800m Championships running a time of 2 mins 10
seconds in Nenagh last weekend. Mick held of the challenges of Des Feeney, West Waterford
and Johnny Doran, Templemore to win his first National title having recently entered the
Masters ranks. Mick also narrowly lost out on a medal in the Mens 400m when placing 4th
in a time of 58 seconds. Seamus Connolly also represented Tinryland with distinction when
placing 2nd in the Mens V5 3km walk in a time of 21 mins 52 seconds.
