Tinryland Athletic Club
Tinryland AC was formed in 1970, and caters for over 100 juvenile and senior athletes for road, track and cross country events.
Since its inception, Tinryland AC has gone on to become one of the most successful clubs in Ireland with many achievements at local, national and international level.
Over this period of time, the club have produced athletes of the highest calibre at track, road, cross country as well as in walking and hill running competitions.
As well as dominating the local athletics scene, Tinryland AC have staged many promotions including the Annual Rockford Race and the Irish Senior, Schools and Universities Cross Country Campionships.

The Tinryland Athletic Club booklet was produced in 1995 to mark the 25th Anniversary of the club. The booklet covers the history of Tinryland AC from its inception in 1970 right up to the mid 1990's. It also contains profiles of the founding members of the club and star athletes who have helped to make the club a succesful force on the Irish athletics stage
