Tinryland Women's Group to Disband

It is with great sadness that a decision was made by the committee to wind up the Tinryland Women's Group. In 2013 funding for groups dried up and although the group tried to organise a few activities during the past year the cost to run most activities/ courses without subsidies has proved financially prohibitive.

On behalf of the current committee they would like to thank all members and previous committee members for working hard to establish the group and the yoga/ knitting and other such activities were enjoyed by all. Courses are still being funded centrally through the Carlow Women's Network and also St Catherine's runs a wide variety of courses from computers to first aid.

The group were in the fortunate position to donate monies left in the bank account, a little over 400 to the Holy Angels in Carlow, a truly worthy local cause and would like to thank all members for their support in the last few years.
