Tinryland Park Fashion Show 2013


Tinryland Park is hosting a fashion show on Wednesday 30th October 2013 in the Seven Oaks Hotel. This event is a fundraising night hosted by Faith Armond, we hope it will be a fantastic night of fashion and fun. We hope to attract models from the local area, so if you fancy a spin on the runaway please contact Frances Byrne. Tickets cost €10 and are available from all Directors or in Deane’s Shop, Tinryland. All proceeds going towards the improvement of our new park.

Irish Heart Foundation

Volunteers are required to assist at bag packing in Tescos from Thursday 24th -Saturday 26th October between 10am - 6pm. If you can help for an hour or two please contact Angela on 0863769516

Line Dancing

Line dancing for beginners will commence on Monday next October 7th. in Eire Og Clubhouse. Classes are from 11am - 12.30. No partner needed - feel free to bring friends! This is a fun way to get some exercise and enjoy country music. Cost €5 per session.

Community Text Alert

A community text alert system is currently being organised for mid-Carlow, including Tinryland. If you would like to become a member, application forms are available in Deane's shop

Athletic Success

Ciara Moore was the star of the Tinryland team that took part in the Carlow Primary Sports last week. Ciara was an outstanding winner in the 4th class girls division. Two other Tinryland children, Lisa Delaney and Cormac O'Brien finished in the top 6th in the section for 6th class. There were also fine performances from the following: Paval Cahill, Anna Walshe, Padraig Thompson, Brian McGrath and Patrick Regan
