Tidy Towns fundraiser

Tinryland Tidy Towns will hold a fund raising night in the G.F.C
Centre Rathrogue on St Patrick's night. Tickets are available in
Deane's shop at ?5 each, and also from Tidy Towns members. Your
support would be greatly appreciated.

Tennis Club Project

Funding for the tennis club development project has been approved. It
is hoped that the
project will start in the near future. More details later.



Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Marie Murphy, Linkardstown, on the death
of her mother Josephine (Jo) CULLEN, (née Hennessy) of Sue Ryder House
and 53 O'Hanrahan Avenue, Carlow Town, Carlow on Friday February 10th
last.

Remains were removed from R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle
at 6.50pm on Sunday to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea. Funeral
Mass took place on Monday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary?s
Cemetery.

Churchgate Collection

There will be a Church Gate Collection in aid of Carlow Hospice in St. Joseph's Church,
Tinryland on the weekend of February 25th and 26th. All support would be greatly
appreciated.

School Enrolment

Enrolment for Tinryland NS for 2012 will take place during the month
of February. Forms
are available from Margaret in the school by contacting 059-9132156
from Monday to Friday
between 9am and 1 pm.

Line Dancing

Line Dancing Classes will take place in Tinryland GAA Club with
classes for beginners from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm and intermediates from
8.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Contact Jerry at 087 7937055.

Snowdrop Week

Snowdrop Week in Altamont Gardens takes place from Monday February
20th - Sunday February 26th 2012 and is a delightful opportunity for
the green-fingered and general gardening enthusiast to view this
unique collection with over 100 named varieties in the collection. A
tour is provided each day at 2.00 p.m. by the head gardener. The
gardens open from 9.00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. throughout Snowdrop Week.
Admission is free and participation in the daily tour is EUR2.

County Carlow Womens Network

County Carlow Women?s Network are celebrating 10years of supporting
Women?s Groups in Co. Carlow. Come join us for a night of Dinner and
Dancing to celebrate our 10th Anniversary on March 9th 2012, in The
Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow, doors open at 8pm. Tickets cost ?20.00,
(including door prize). Music by renowned band ?After Dark?. Tickets
are available from The Seven Oaks Hotel, Val in County Carlow
Development Partnership (086-8950025), or members of the County
Carlow Women?s Network.
