Very Successful Senior Citizens Party
The Tinryland Senior Citizens Christmas party took place on Sunday
15th January 2012 in Tinryland GFC Clubhouse, Rathcrogue. Almost 60
people sat down to a 4 course lunch prepared by John Holland and his
team and served by members of the GFC and Senior Citizens committees.
The hall was decorated for the occasion with lovely flower
arrangements by Marie Gorman, Tinryland. The cake, provided by Seerys
Bakery and beautifully iced by Tina Doyle, was cut by Kathleen
O?Neill, Tinryland and Jack Brennan, Clochristic. After the meal
everyone danced and sang along to the music provided by Billy Kirwin.
An enjoyable evening was had by all and everyone went home with a
U-10 Handwriting in Ardattin 5th Feb at 3 o'clock
Area Art will be held in Tinryland Parish Hall Friday 27th Jan at 6.30 pm

Carlow County Ploughing Championships
The Carlow County Ploughing Championships will be held on the lands of
Jim Reddy, Fighting Cocks on Sinday February 5th with competitors
taking part from all over Ireland and Wales in the team competitions.
The events will start at 11.30 pm. For further information contact

Carlow Cancer Support Group - Eist (Affiliated to Irish Cancer Society)
Our monthly Support Group meetings resume for 2012 on Tues., 7th Feb.,
in Seven Oaks Hotel, at 8pm.
Topic this monthis "Positive Living and Wellbeing", facilitated by
Clare Healy, of Stillness Holistic Centre, St. Patricks Ave., Carlow.
