Coaching Course

On Saturday April 9th, a coaching course will be held in the club by
John Morrison. All are requested to attend, especially coaches from
Under 10's and upwards. The time of the course will be from 10am to 2pm.

Presentation Evening

Bennekerry/Tinryland Ladies Club will hold a presentation evening for
Under 11, 12, 13 and 14 players in Tinryland GFC on Wednesday March
30th at 7.45 pm. Light refreshments will be served and all parents are
welcome.

Ladies Football

Any ladies or girls interested in playing for a new ladies football
club in Milford should contact Michelle at 085-7296453.

Lotto

The winning numbers were 3, 15, 28 and 29 on Wed March 16th with the
Jackpot not being won. Congratulations to local winner Maria Maher
(nee Deane). All support for the Parish Lotto is welcomed.

Sympathy

The death occurred on Sunday March 20th of Rita Hayes (nee Rowe) of Milford. Loving wife
of the late Jack. Sadly missed by her son David,
daughter-in-law Beth, grandsons Patrick, Timothy and Benjamin, sister
Oriel (Connor), nephews, nieces, family and friends. Remains reposied from
12noon on Sunday (March 27th) in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton
Castle followed by removal at 2.30pm to St. John's Church Cloydagh for
Funeral Service at 3pm. Burial took place afterwards in the adjoining
churchyard.

Sympathy is extended to Kay McGrath on the death of her father Jim
Kane, Bagenalstown and also to Pat Murray, Ballybar on the recent
death of his mother Kathleen Murray Co. Cork.

Tinryland Womens Group

Any interest in forming a Tinryland Womens Group? Such a group would
organize various courses and sessions of general interest and benefit.

Pilates classes

Barrow Spinal and Sports Physiotherapy clinic are running Pilates
classes every night during lent (From Wed March 9th to Easter) for all

Mini Marathon

BE A VOICE FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM, walk/jog/run the Flora Women's
Mini Marathon in Dublin on Monday 6th June in aid of the Saplings
School for Children with Autism, Carlow. Registration and transport

FAI Soccer Sisters Easter Camp

I.T.Carlow will host a FAI Soccer Sisters Easter Camp on Monday 18th,
Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st April 2011. The camp
will run for 3 hours every day for girls aged 7-12 years. Topics
covered over the 4 days will include Passing, Control, Dribbling and
Shooting fun games under the supervision of FAI Qualified coaching
staff in a safe environment. The sessions will be held indoors in
I.T.Carlow. The cost to participate is ?60 with all girls receiving
the new Soccer Sisters 2011 Football kit. Register for the Soccer
Sisters Easter camp and receive a ?20 discount on the FAI Summer
Soccer School. The FAI Soccer Sisters programme is the 1st step in
identifying players for future league, regional and International
squads. Participation on the Easter Camp will be another step forward
for girls soccer in County Carlow with our aim to have a girl?s league
at the start of the 2011/2012 season. For information and to book a

The Annual General Meeting of Carlow Federation Irish Countrywomens
Association will be held in the Community Centre, Bagenalstown on
Thursday 7th April at 8 p.m. All members and intending members are
invited to attend. Melissa Griffith from the organisation Green Sod
Land Trust will be the guest speaker.
