Weekly News Roundup - Sunday 4 Apr 2010
There was a very large attendance at the Tinryland NS Fashion Show in Carlow last week which was a very well supported community event. 17 Child Models stole the show
on the night while many parents also took to the catwalk. There was also great applause when Principal John Kelly made an appearance on the night. Locals Eilish Costello (make up),
Clem Delaney (printing) and Blakes Hair Salon all made a great contribution to the successful staging of the show. Great credit is also due to those who provided generous spot prizes
for the show which was in aid of a new classroom for the school with no less than €10,400 raised. Thanks also to compere Faith Amond and the Parents Committee, Liz Kennedy, Hazel James,
Sarah Sutton, Mary Regan, Chairperson Caroline Farrell and other committee members.
