Weekly News Roundup - Wednesday 3 Feb 2010

Darren has Tinryland's X Factor

The songs are sung and the battle is won as the newest Tinryland X-Factor winner was crowned on Friday night in Tinryland Clubhouse. The final 8 battled it out to then become 3 - where Danielle Power,
Kathleen Nic Dhiarmada and Darren Martin sang their hearts out to claim the coveted crown. But once the votes were counted the huge crowd awaited the news of who was going to be the winner.
It was Darren Martin that claimed the prize with his rendition of `The Climb' who won the hearts of the Tinryland crowd. Overall the competition was a great success and we would like to thank all of
the contestants and of course the great numbers who came out on the 2 nights to lend their support. Tinryland Variety Group will be performing in Wexford for the South East Tops on the 5th and 19th
of March, so come along and support us for a great night's entertainment.
