Weekly News Roundup - Saturday 27 Jun 2009

New Walking Path for Local Area

Work has recently commenced on the construction of a new all weather
walking track at Tinryland G.F.C. grounds Rathcrogue. When completed in a
months time the new track which will be floodlit and over 700 metres long
should be a great asset for all parishoners who are interested in
recreational walking or jogging and who are finding the local roads
increasingly dangerous especially during the dark winter months. The
construction of the new amenity is being carried out by local site
development contractor George Deane.

Marcus Wins National Schools Sprint Title

record and was also faster than the winning Intermediate Boys time on the
day.

Amond, Ballycrogue.
