Sympathy is extended to Noel Broderick, Tinryland and Des Broderick, Ballycrogue on the death of their brother Vincent, Pollerton Road who was interred last week.
Ladies Mini Marathon
Volunteers are sought to participate in the Dublin Ladies Mini Marathon in aid of Holy Angels Day Care Centre on Monday Jue 2nd. Transport and T Shirt will be provided. Sponsorship cards and registration forms are available at Holy Angels (Phone 059-9143911). The Centre is closed up until May 12th.
This years Cemetery Mass will take place in Tinryland on Friday July 4th at 8pm.
Carlow Choral Society
Carlow Choral Society together with the Orchestra of Saint Cecilia presents a choral concert in Carlow Cathedral on Sunday May 25th at 8pm. Tickets are €20 (€15 concessions). The concert consists of two great choral works : Faure Requiem and Cherubini Requiem. Tickets available at 086 3232403.
Training continues in the Parochial Fields this week for the local area. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 pm until the County Finals on June 28th.
Pilgrimage to Knock
The diocesan pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Sunday June 1st. People from all 56 parishes in the diocese are encouraged to take part in this event.
The St. Pio Pilgrimage 2008 to Benevento and San Giovanni, takes place from August 8th (St. Pio's Anniversary) for 7 nights. The group leader is Brendan Byrne and the spiritual director is Fr. Brendan Byrne. There is a special group price of €849. For more information contact 059-9152666.
