The following Bennekerry-Tinryland competitors were successful in the County Carlow Community Games Gymnastics Finals recently:
Girls Under 8- Aine McGough – Gold
Girls Under 10- Tricia Sloyan- Gold Rebecca Houlihan –Bronze
Sian McGough- 4th
Girls Under 12- Sara Rennick- Gold Niamh Sloyan- 4th
Girls Under 16- Mary Barrett- Gold
Boys Under 12- Brendan Hutton- Gold.
The winners of the above qualify for the National Finals in Mosney Co. Meath in late August/early September.
The Annual Cemetery Mass in Tinryland will be celebrated on Friday July 8th at 8 pm. All graves should be attended to over the coming weeks.
The St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Saturday June 25th. The bus will leave Tinryland at around 7.45 am and the cost per place is 15 Euro. Bookings and payments should be made by June 12th to Josie Kelly, Linkardstown at 087-8324656.

ICA Annual Outing
The Tinryland ICA Annual Outing takes place on Wednesday June 15th visiting Airfield House and Gardens, Dundrum and also Dundrum Shopping Centre. This will be followed later by an evening meal in the Priory, Kilgowan. Non-members are very welcome.

The organizers of the Tinryland NS Jumble Sale would like to thank all who supported the event on Thursday last. The amount raised was €500, which went towards the Carlow Special Olympics Fund.
The Confirmation Class of 2005 will receive their Pioneer Pins on Thursday June 23rd. The cost of the pin and certificate is €4 and this should be paid before Friday June 17th. Anyone who received pins in 2001 are due to get the full pin now. Anyone wishing to become full Pioneers should contact Josie at 087-8324656.
The Reaching Out initiative to visit Parish homes will shortly be launched. There will be a Parish directory (20 page booklet), which will be distributed to each home by the “Visitors”. The meeting to discuss the final details will take place in the Parochial House on Friday June 19th at 8.45 pm. All who are interested in taking part in the visitation are invited to attend.
