Handball team Second in National Final
Tinryland-Bennekerry Boys Under 15 Handball team won silver medals at the National Community Games Finals in Mosney Co. Meath after some fine performances over the weekend. The team had a fine win over the Ulster Champions from Monaghan in the semi-final before losing by 39 pts to Clare in the National Final. The team was Shane Redmond, Colm Nolan, Cormac Walshe, Brian Deane, Matthew O’Toole and Kevin Barrett.

The Tinryland AC Autumn League commences on Wednesday next, September 1st with a 2 mile stage starting at 7.30 pm in the village.
This will be followed by 3 further stages over the following weeks including the Rockford Race on Sunday September 19th.
There will be prizes in all categories and for all who complete the 4 stages. The entry is fee is 5 Euro for each stage in the League excluding the Rockford Race. For further information contact Sean at 087-2509520.
