A firm which specializes in renewing Church fittings has begun working on some of the key elements of St. Joseph’s Church. Restorations have been made to the tabernacle and the two candelabra and work is being carried out on the matching pieces in the sanctuary.
Any donations towards this project would be very much appreciated.
There will be a churchgate collection in aid of Bennekerry/Tinryland Ladies Football Club on Saturday and Sunday August 7th and 8th. All support would be greatly appreciated.
The wedding took place in St. Joseph’s Church, Tinryland on Saturday last of Theresa Galway, daughter of Paddy and Judy, 26 Tinryland and Paul Murphy, Old Leighlin. The nuptial mass was celebrated by Rev. John McEvoy PP. The bridesmaid was Linda Galway, sister of bride while the best man was PJ Murphy, brother of groom. The pageboys were James and Michael Murphy, sons of the bride and groom. The reception was held in Ballykealy House Hotel and the honeymoon is being spent in Killarney.
There will be a coach tour to Dublin on Sunday August 8th to attend a sale of works by the Oblate Missions in St. Mary’s Hall, Inchicore. The trip also includes a visit to the Windsor Sunday markets in Tallaght. For further information contact Eithne Ryan at 9722004.
