Bishops Visit

Bishop Jim Moriarty officiated at both Masses in Tinryland on his pastoral visit last weekend. In his sermon he emphasised the importance of Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist. He also thanked the various people, including readers, Eucharistic ministers, servers, school board of management, Organist, Choir and the sacristan which help in any way under the leadership of Rev. John McEvoy in ensuring the smooth running of all church activities.


New Houses

Steady progress is being made on the 26 local authority houses currently being built in Tinryland. It is hoped to hand over the keys to the successful applicants in late July or early August.

First Communion

First Communion will be celebrated at 11am Mass for the children of second class in Tinryland NS next Sunday (23rd May), feast of the Ascension.

Mini Marathon

The Holy Angels Day Care Centre is looking for ladies to participate and raise funds for the centre in this year’s Mini Marathon to be held on Monday June 7th. Transport and t-shirt will be provided. For further information contact Sharon at 9143911.
