Parents wishing to enrol their children in Tinryland NS for September 2004 should ring the Secretary, Margaret at 9132156 for an enrolment form from Monday next, April 19th to Friday April 30th or call to class teacher Mrs. Finnerty between 2 and 3 pm over this period. Please take along a baptismal or birth certificate.
Orla Nolan, daughter of Joe and Phil Nolan, Ballinacarrig, and Armour McFarland, son of Rev. George and Loida McFarland, Zafra, Spain, were married in Palacio de Mondragon, Ronda, Spain, on Monday, 5th April. The ecumenical ceremony was conducted by V. Rev. John McEvoy, P.P., Tinryland, and Rev. George McFarland. The bridesmaid was Deirdre Nolan, sister of the bride, the bestman was Carlos McFarland, brother of the groom, and the flower girls were Keila and Hadasa Dias, nieces of the groom. The reception was at Restaurante Sol y Sombra, Ronda and the honeymoon was spent in Granada.
Four County League
The final stage of the St. Abbans Four County League will now be held in Tolerton Co. Laois on Friday April 23rd at 7.30 pm. Tinryland currently lead the A and B team events with Pat Byrne set to regain another individual title.
Athletic training for Community Games will be held in the Parochial Fields, Tinryland on Tuesday next, April 20th between 7 pm and 8 pm.
The Bennekerry/Tinryland Community Games Finals will be held in Tinryland GAA Club, Rathcrogue on Thursday May 13th at 6.30 pm.

Tinryland Minor Footballers continued their 100% start to the league with a 0-12 to 0-9 win over Burrin Rangers in Ballon on Sunday last. The team has also accounted for Rathvilly, St. Andrews and Eire Og to date. The team will now play away to Michael Davitt's on Saturday next.
The St. Joseph's Young Priests Society (Dublin Province) are running a 7 day Pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal on May 27th. The spiritual director is Fr. Conn Moloney (St. Patrick's College). The cost is 617 Euro per person. For further information contact Marie Hogan at 056-8832125.

A talk by Regina Duane (Community Support Officer with Carlow V.E.C.) on drug awareness and education for young people in sport will be held tomorrow (Thursday) April 15th at Tinryland GFC clubhouse commencing at 8.30 p.m. sharp. All team mentors and committee members are requested to attend.
There will be a Churchgate Collection in aid of the Carlow Rehab Foundation in St. Joseph's Church, Tinryland next weekend April 17th and 18th. The Centre provides training for over 60 young people with special needs in garment making, picture framing and general industrial work.
A table quiz in aid of Staplestown Parish will be held in Tinryland GAA Clubhouse, Rathcrogue tonight (Wednesday) April 14th at 8.30 pm. All support would be greatly appreciated.
