Weekly News Roundup - Wednesday 23 Apr 2003
A newsletter has been circulated by Rev. John McEvoy PP to parishioners, which is aimed at collecting a small parish census and encourages those interested to help out in areas of the liturgy or to become involved in parish organisations.
The letter also details mass times throughout the year and gives information on other events such as Baptism and Anniversary Masses.
As part of the circular, all recipients are asked to give a listing of the names of all who reside in their households with the year of birth of people aged under 21 and the areas of service in which people would be prepared to offer 2-3 years of help.
The collection of this information which should provide an accurate demographic picture of the area, will take place over the next few weeks.
