2) peterpanTuesday 22 Jan 2008 @ 10:24

Martin, i too was on the bus in recent years when this bus driver was the driver.... it is an absolute nightmare just trying to get home on that bus..he used to stop the bus about 6 or 7 times just coming home and on numerous occasions he refused to move the bus because perhaps a 13 year old student might have laughed or he/she might have sneezed!!! and every one on the bus had to ring for a lift home ...i remember one instance where he stopped the bus for so long " because a balloon was supposidly thrown at him" that it was nearly 7 o clock by the time we got home...its a disgrace and something should be done....i have family members who are currently on the bus and they still say that it is as bad as ever on the bus...he even rang the gardi one time because students were laughing........ im not sure who is more childish on that bus!!!! anyways something has to be done !!!!! and QUICKLY!!!!!

3) martinTuesday 22 Jan 2008 @ 18:42

thanks for reply everything possible has been done to get rid this person most parents are now driving the kids to school and picking them up seemily no one above this busdriver he works for doesnt want to know and still doing nothing about it he is still driving what should we do about it any ideas

4) annfWednesday 23 Jan 2008 @ 15:23

The only time something will be done is when they have a crash, i have done everything for a over 2 years and no one wants to listen to these children we have rang Bus Eireann and this man is doing notting wrong and has a clean record but if you asked any of the children on the bus they will tell you what is going on ,If all the parents get together something will be done before its is too late.If someone was willing to come and listen to them they will get a shock when they here whats going on ,on the bus.

5) peterpanWednesday 23 Jan 2008 @ 15:24

why dont they get a news paper reporter out and put a paragraph in the paper about it and name and shame the driver and the bus company

6) peterpanWednesday 23 Jan 2008 @ 15:27

ann your dead right ....!!!!!! that is exactly what is going to happen.... no one is going to listen about what is happening until it is too late and even when it is too late the driver in question will still blame the children...!!!!! ITS A DISGRACE!!!!

7) peterpanWednesday 23 Jan 2008 @ 15:29

is it true that this same bus driver was moved off another bus run to the tinryland one over the same problem!!!!!!!!!

8) annfWednesday 23 Jan 2008 @ 16:40

yes and it was in the paper 19 jan 07

9) annfWednesday 23 Jan 2008 @ 16:48

did anything happen to u on the bus i hope to tell alot around tinryland about this and hope they write a comment

10) peterpanWednesday 23 Jan 2008 @ 17:51

ah well the bus driver in question came down to me and the lads back then about twice a day and totally abused us untill he was blue in the face then he would even resort to abusing some of their family members and they might not even be on the bus at that time...........the verbal abuse was horrific and a wouldn say it is any better now ann!!!!!!!! we need everyone to act together on this one and get rid of him altogether before he physically strikes a student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!because i can tell ya from being a first hand witness he is capable of it!!!!!

11) annfWednesday 23 Jan 2008 @ 19:44

do u think if there was a meeting called about it that many people would turn up, i think some people think that it is just one or two of the lads on the bus, if they can get them off it will be alright, but a lot of girls has had trouble with him aswell.do people only want to do something about it when it happens to there child because it has happen to every child on the bus just ask your child and they will tell you

12) martinThursday 24 Jan 2008 @ 7:14

maybe an announcement or a note giving to be read out at a eleven o clock mass to get peoples attention how serious this situtation is if nothing is done he will continue driving and the students still suffer for it

13) EllieMBFriday 25 Jan 2008 @ 13:22

Hi All: My children have too been seriously verbally abused and physically threatened by this driver. Despite numerous complaints to Ray Kearney of Bus Eireann, Principal of the school, Larry Kavanagh CEO of VEC Carlow, the Gardai and anyone else I can think of nothing is being done about this situation. If the parents could get together for a meeting and thrash Ideas around maybe we could come up with some sort of resolution. I am desperate at this stage. I was told by Ray Kearney on Mon just passed that this man has no social skills and basically it is ok to abuse kids if you do not have any social skills. My one question: If I were to get on the bus and loose it with this driver for bullying intimidation and harrassement of the kids, would Ray Kearny, David/Albert Glynn, the Gardai and John Dunne inspector of this bus run all excuse me as I do not have any social skills???????

14) annfFriday 25 Jan 2008 @ 14:58

the only thing about it is that everyone will not stick together, if they did something would be done long ago.I done a lot last year and he is still on the bus. if we all got together something would have to be done for our children, before its to late.

15) maxFriday 25 Jan 2008 @ 15:15

i agree with ann.its very easy post your comments here behind a name.i have organised a meeting to be held in the school on monday at 8o'clock for anyone interested in coming

16) EllieMBFriday 25 Jan 2008 @ 17:02

That is great Max to know about a meeting I will definately be there

17) annfFriday 25 Jan 2008 @ 17:04

thats is great , are the students to go aswell, a lot happen to my girl last year and she was told not to go to the papers or the radio with this story they would take the route off before the bus driver

18) annfFriday 25 Jan 2008 @ 17:20

i done a bebo page for the students to tell there story.A few of the students just did not no what to do last year. i had a good talk with them ,so i hope we will all stick together this time.and hope that our children story can be heard.

19) EllieMBFriday 25 Jan 2008 @ 18:00

that is great alright ann maybe if people stick together this time something positive will be done this time:

20) annfFriday 25 Jan 2008 @ 23:10

24) annfMonday 28 Jan 2008 @ 21:34

max if you think it is funny to get a lot of people to go to the school i dont .when there was no meeting.this is about our children and there safety

25) martinTuesday 29 Jan 2008 @ 8:25

max your no better than the driver of the bus the two of you should be tied together your not true to your word and your not putting others off by what you did any way your abig big cowardly chichen

26) maxTuesday 29 Jan 2008 @ 12:35

I'm deeply regretful but i had a family emergency and forgot all about the meeting.i am sorry

27) annfTuesday 29 Jan 2008 @ 14:24

the school principal did not even no anything about the meeting it is hard on the children to go on the bus but they need to no that we are going to try and help them this time.

28) annfTuesday 29 Jan 2008 @ 14:34

29) maxTuesday 29 Jan 2008 @ 16:54

the wheels on the bus go round and round

30) martinWednesday 30 Jan 2008 @ 17:14

a max ha/ha/ha it could be u 'and the bus driver. dont forget what goes around comes around .if you are true to your word do something about it,and redeem yourself.

31) maxWednesday 30 Jan 2008 @ 17:21

the wheels on the bus go around and come around martin.where were you for the meeting?

32) martinThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 12:18

people who were genuine about the meeting did show up execpt you max is the wheeis on your bus still going round and round is that why your were late for meeting

33) maxThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 13:21

i dont have a bus.and if i did it sure wouldnt have wheeis.im struggling to understand you martin...just relax before you write a msg and when your finished read over everything carefully..twice...good lad

34) martinThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 13:33

make sure you take your own advice laddie max

35) zacThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 17:09

just reading through the comments max what kind of a statement is "if i had a bus it wouldn't have wheels" you wouldn't get very far without them maybe that's why you weren't at the meeting no transport ha ha. obviously you have no care or concern for this issue whereas these people do so go waste other peoples time. i myself have no children on the bus route in question but will and will not have much faith in the driver. feel free to reply

36) martinThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 17:44

i agree with you zac he should nt be wasting his time even in giving no more that writing comments about whats happening in the real world

37) EllieMBThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 18:48

Max you are a disgrace: to arrange a meeting like that knowing that parents and children alike are suffering at the hands of this driver, you just have no regard for other people: Stop wasting other people's time and do something useful: Are there any other parents out there that would be willing to try arrange a proper meeting and see if we can get this sorry mess sorted once and for all, not just for the kids on the bus route at the moment but also for those coming on in the future??

38) maxThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 19:12

yeah ive arranged a new meeting for next monday night in the school.i cleared it with john.martin now you could do with going back to school into the slow learners class

39) zacThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 19:34

what's the point in organising a new meeting when the kids have all gotten back on the bus and most parents don't have the want or the will to do anything as usual leave it to somebody else. i was not there for the so called meeting but if there was a number of people why wasn't it held anyway. in their juvenile delinquent mind max thought he/she was being funny and now has to insult people to make himself/herself feel better shows they have very little inteligence to begin with ignorance is a terrible thing and max you have loads to spare

40) martinThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 21:09

a max my name isnot martin and whos john your name

41) martinThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 21:21

max you know what you can do with your meeting i hope you will be in good company by your self by the looks of things your only after coming out of the slow learners regime yourself i suppose you were top of your class

42) johnboyThursday 31 Jan 2008 @ 23:01

max you seem to be a funny little man alright. its easy to know you dont have kids of your own. just grow up and stop acting the "pup"

43) annfSaturday 2 Feb 2008 @ 20:02

how can we help our children of this parish if we dont all stick together, some people might think it is funny but i dont and i no a lot of the children on the bus and some that dont go on the bus now will come to a meeting so if you want to help the children of our parish . i will go to the school on monday and the priest and i will ring around to see if i can get someone from bus eireann to come aswell first ,then i will let everyone no when it is, what night do ye think would be best i dont hide behind a name i think most people will no who i am if not just go on to bebo and you will see xx bus 26 talk xx

44) johnboySunday 3 Feb 2008 @ 19:27

ah i think were all being a bit critical of the whole thing, is it really that bad?

45) martinMonday 4 Feb 2008 @ 13:45

when and where will this meeting be held the sooner this gets sorted the better its all in aid of our kids going and coming home safely without them being hasseled hope all concerned will get involved

46) maxWednesday 6 Feb 2008 @ 11:36

48) zacThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 7:07

does mr.kelly know about the meeting this time or are you just messing with people it's a case of no -one can take you at your word so i will ask tomorrow when i see him you hardly think people will fall for that twice

49) annfThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 13:46

hi all i have arranged a meeting on monday 18 feb 2008 in the school at 7.30 hope to get a few people over the schools and the bus aswell there was no meeting arranged with john kelly i was talking to him today 7feb . i dont no who max is but i no he did not go to john kelly because he knew notting about a meeting hope all will come ann fitzpatrick

good.its about time something was done!!i will definitel be there.max the lion

51) annfThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 14:14

max i dont think you need to come to the meeting on the 18 your meeting is on monday night somewhere in your head and i hope a lot turn up

52) martinThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 16:48

i m pleased to know that the genuine meeting is going ahead its about time this problem was sorted out once and for all without any interfering from you max hope to see everyone their and their wont be no messing about

53) johnboyThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 17:00

ann why did you arrange one for monday 7.30? you obviously dont watch corrie then?

54) martinThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 18:58

obusiely your abig fan of corrie johnboy u wont have to concern yourself would nt want you to miss anything

55) annfThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 19:36

i do look at corrie but i think the children on the bus have to come first if u cant make it, its ok but its not only about the children on the bus now we have to think of the other children that will be going on the bus in years to come aswell

56) annfThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 19:56

max i see u arranged a AA meeting in the school on monday night i dont drink so i wont be there, but mine is about the bus

57) zacThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 20:06

johnboy and max you should limit your comments to football but maybe that's all your able to do comment on things you can't do

58) maxThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 21:29

no sorry there ann,i didnt arrange any AA meeting this monday, dunno where the mix up is!!ah im a bit old for the football now zac but i was some mover back in the day!!sorry i wont be able to make the meeting on monday cos ill be watching corrie too.poor old jack is heartbroken now with no v around ;(

59) maxThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 21:32

besides ya should leave the bus driver alone.as your kids grow up they will have to learn how to deal with these people in their own way.ya wont be able to turn to mammy and daddy always.its all part of life experience

60) annfThursday 7 Feb 2008 @ 22:10

max go back to your comment on the 6 feb 11.36 my child said thank god she has great parents like us to stick up for her and her friends

61) zacFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 5:54

i agree that kids do have to learn to deal with things but the simple task of going to and from school and not knowing what antics the bus driver will get up to shouldn't be something they should have to worry about or deal with he isan adult and in a position of trust his job is to get them to and from school safely not to stop and read the paper when the mood takes him if it were in reverse and the children were causing the problem then everyone would probaby say where are their parents and why aren't they involved these parents are doing what's right for their kids maybe the department of education should be contacted and the department of transprtation the bus company has a contract with someone i know cie issue the bus tickets but they also have to answer to someone

62) annfFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 13:02

they already no everything about the bus from last year they think it is the children on the bus and he does notting wrong but a lot of people and the schools dont think it is that bad ,but it is,at the meeting some of them will get to tell there story thats all they want .hope some people will understand then what is going on . they have a lot to deal with these days more then we did.

63) zacFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 13:46

isn't that always the way the kids get the blame i'm hoping to make the meeting but with a small baby not sure if i will b able but i will try hope it goes well for you hope you get a good turn out.

64) maxFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 14:27

come on now,ya know what kids are like.im sure theres a couple that just push the driver to the limit.its a shame all the other kids have to suffer though.but i used to go on the bus myself and theres always one or two ya know yoourself.little scumbag tramps

65) martinFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 15:56

looks like max is standing by the bus driver ihope your refering to your self in saying you were once a scum bag and a tramp not all kids are in anyway any of what you called them at least their standing up for all kids on the bus and they have every right to be heard be sure to come to the meeting and voice your opinions everyone welcome including you max

66) zacFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 16:18

max yyou said you were some mover when you used to play football well if you moved half as well as you move your mouth it's a wonder you weren't an allstar your taking the piss maybe someone in your family is a tramp and scumbag i don't know, but your parents must be so proud of their little angel butter wouldn't melt if they only knew what afine human being they have raised

67) annfFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 20:28

max my child is no scumbag tramp she is a young girl that is trying to get to school and home thats all she wants. but she will tell her story if u could name the scumbags tramps that u are on about please tell all of us

68) johnboyFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 21:54

it seems to be a big topic and a important. if only we could back to my day when we walked miles to school wit no trouble but unfortunaately things must of changed

69) johnboyFriday 8 Feb 2008 @ 21:55

less of the smart comments john, i happen to enjoy corrie and relax in front of the telly on a mon nite, but the kids do come first of course

70) maxWednesday 13 Feb 2008 @ 20:02

hey how did the meeting go after?sorry i couldnt make it x x x

71) martinThursday 14 Feb 2008 @ 20:08

72) maxFriday 15 Feb 2008 @ 3:40

martin honestl im struggling to understand what you say!!if you are disleksic there are people to help out there x x x

73) annfFriday 15 Feb 2008 @ 11:39

max there is a lot of people and children that have dyslexic this is a comment page about the bus thats all not for you to make fun of people.

74) tinrylandgirlFriday 15 Feb 2008 @ 12:22

did ye see the sheep topic

75) tinrylandgirlFriday 15 Feb 2008 @ 12:31

max with a topic about sheep i think you should stay on your topic page and see how many wankers you get u will probably end up to be the biggest wanker

76) zacFriday 15 Feb 2008 @ 17:57

hey just ignore max we all know what he's about don't even lower yourselves to his level the meeting is going ahead because that's what he wants let him argue with himself and the others in his head he lost and it sickens him so max get a life you poor child

77) martinFriday 15 Feb 2008 @ 20:01

max dosen t seem to be able to pick up on anything remotley whats happing let alone about sheep he must nt know the difference between a sheep nor a bus

78) maxSaturday 16 Feb 2008 @ 17:08

80) johnboySunday 17 Feb 2008 @ 13:55

martin did you mean thanks for the compliment? are you as serious as we all are about the meeting max or is this one big joke to you?

81) seanSunday 17 Feb 2008 @ 21:45

ah jeez goys is the bus driver really that bad, i mean its a tough job listening to children and there not nice these days, very mouthy!! as wel as that children tend to exaggerate, he prob isnt half as bad as the make out, if he was as bad as you are describing then there is no way hed still be drivin the bus

82) annfSunday 17 Feb 2008 @ 23:36

dont forget to come to the meeting monday night 18 feb 7.30 in tinryland ns please, yes it is that bad but some of them that was on the bus are over 18 now and can talk about what happen to them, now they are not children anymore children can not be heard but i hope at the meeting they will

83) maxMonday 18 Feb 2008 @ 0:25

when i was using the public computer i saved my name and password together, looks like someone has been logging on with my account.very sorry.hope the meeting goes well

84) martinMonday 18 Feb 2008 @ 15:41

it is a serious matter he has been getting away with far to much and its about time something been done about it the kids on the bus have their rights too see you all at the meeting hope it will be successful

85) annfMonday 18 Feb 2008 @ 22:02

86) johnboyTuesday 19 Feb 2008 @ 15:12

so ann,was the meetin a "great success" then?

87) martinTuesday 19 Feb 2008 @ 19:14

meeting went very well everyone their got to speak about what they have to endure with what this bus driver has done most of the kids are afraid of what he might do next maybe all whom are involved might be able to end it once and for all

88) annfThursday 3 Apr 2008 @ 21:33

95) martinWednesday 4 Mar 2009 @ 23:52

no one owned up yet for burning the seats.it is on fire for the rest of the pupils going to school

96) seanThursday 5 Mar 2009 @ 12:38

well i most certainly wont be sending my children to school on a bus that is on fire. surely that isnt safe. is there any way to find out who started the fire?? surely they have to be kicked off the bus.

97) martinWednesday 11 Mar 2009 @ 19:43

maybe when the fire is out that the pupils will realize how much the bus is needed and for thoese how done damage should not be allowed back on the bus

98) martinTuesday 31 Mar 2009 @ 23:54
